The theme for our wedding is ‘The Garden City,’ an image of heaven from the Book of Revelation that represents the ultimate union between God and His people, reconciliation, feasting, and abundance.

Here’s what’s in store for the weekend…

Frday 4th July

We’re starting the weekend with a traditional Nigerian ceremony—a joyful celebration of Vicky's Urhobo heritage and the union of two families. Expect bold outfits, blessings, prayers, and plenty of spontaneous dancing.

…Then comes the feast!

Open-fire cooking, music, dancing, and drinks are all on the menu. For the details on what to wear, visit the Dress the Part page.

Festivities kick off at 5 PM and wind down at 10:30 PM, so please arrive on time!

The Wedding Day

Saturday 5th July

Our church wedding is the heart of the weekend for us—and we can’t wait to worship with you and share this moment together. The ceremony will take place at St Mary the Virgin, a historic church just steps from the castle. The dress code is Black Tie (preferred)—for guidance, please visit the Dress the Part page.

The ceremony begins at 1 PM sharp.

Please arrive on time, as late entry will not be permitted.

Cocktail Hour

We think games, cocktails, and food stations are best enjoyed together—so that’s exactly what we’re planning after the ceremony. Join us by the picturesque lily pond in the terraced gardens for a lively cocktail hour.

Wedding Breakfast

The feast continues in the castle’s Great Hall, with speeches, table games, plenty of biodynamic wine, and something sweet before the party kicks off.

Party

The night wraps at 11pm, but until then—expect dancing, late-night bites, and an open bar.

Bring your dancing shoes and stay as long as your feet will let you!
